At Right Steps ® Education we understand that every child is unique, and we strive to build on that uniqueness with our boutique preschool and childcare center.

Right Steps ® Education is a boutique preschool and childcare center that caters to the individual needs of each child. Our curriculum is based on the Pennsylvania Standards for Early Learning, and incorporates daily learning activities that foster creativity, logical thinking and social skills. Right Steps ® supports many different approaches to learning through our Global Education curriculum which integrates a variety of methodologies from around the world.

At Right Steps ®, our love for children shows in our dedication to providing them with the experiences and tools that nurture their ‎education and development. The Right Steps ® faculty is devoted to inspiring the personal and intellectual development of every child. We want parents to feel that their child is excellent hands, so we offer only the highest quality care in our state-of-the-art facilities. The way children learn, think and behave throughout their lives is shaped by early experiences. We support each child’s individual growth and development in our warm and nurturing environment.

Our teaching philosophy is based on the Reggio Emilia approach to learning. The Reggio Emilia approach is an educational philosophy geared toward preschool and primary education. It was developed after World War II by a teacher, Loris Malaguzzi, and parents in the villages around Reggio Emilia in Italy. Following the war, people believed that children were in need of a new way of learning.

Our curriculum embodies this approach to learning by incorporating the following into our classroom day: play-based learning approaches, creative thinking and expression, cognitive thinking and general knowledge, mathematical thinking and expression, scientific thinking and technology, social studies thinking, health wellness and physical development, language and literacy development, partnerships with families and communities, and social and emotional development.

We encourage families to come visit our facility, observe our classrooms and meet the staff. We understand the importance of making the right decision and we want to provide you with a comprehensive view of our approach to child care. We offer infant, toddler, kindergarten, after-school, summer-camp and educational child care options.
