PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Bucks County couple is expanding their “boutique” preschool into Center City.
It’s a preschool with a world view. John and Regina Reydler opened their two “Right Steps ®” preschools in Richboro and Churchville seven years ago. They plan to open a Center City location next month in a former bank building at 16th and Locust.
Director Mary Beth Cunningham says in addition to eco-friendly furniture and organic locally-sourced meals, the school exposes young children to a variety of international cultures through music and games.
“We try to encourage them to become citizens of the world. We do that through our global education program, which is woven into all areas of our building.”
The two-story world mural surrounding the school’s indoor playground features The Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal and the Philadelphia skyline.
