Keeping Kids Healthy - Bucks County Child Care Center

April 12, 2017

If you are a parent, then you already know how important is that your children remain healthy. For many parents, one of the most important factors in deciding on a daycare or a preschool is the cleanliness factor. No parent wants his or her child attending a daycare or a preschool facility that is lacking in cleanliness. At Right Steps ® Education, we understand that parents have specific requests, and we do whatever we can to see that the children we enroll remain healthy throughout the course of our year.

One of the best ways to keep children healthy is by implementing what we call a “clean step” policy at our facility. The clean step policy ensures that children who enroll in our programs learn the importance of good hygiene. One way that children can remain in good health is by removing their outdoor shoes before entering the classroom. By taking off street shoes before entering the facility, we reduce the amount of germ-load that would otherwise enter the environment. Children are quick learners, and at Right Steps ® we find that they all grow to respect the clean step policy in the name of staying healthy.

Another way that we work to keep children healthy at Right Steps ® is by incorporating a stringent hand washing policy in all of our classrooms. We all know that one of the best ways to cut back on illness, especially during the winter months, is through proper and frequent hand washing. Hand washing is safer and more effective at germ removal that hand sanitizing, so at Right Steps ® we work with all of the children to ensure that they understand how to properly wash their hands when they are both in and out of daycare or preschool.

When it comes to choosing the right daycare or preschool, we understand that you have a lot of choices. At Right Steps ®, we do whatever we can to make sure that child feels welcome and safe. We also do whatever we can to make sure that your child remains as healthy as possible whole enrolled in our program. Our excellent attendance rate proves that by implementing the clean step policy and the hand washing policy, our children have fewer illnesses and therefore miss fewer days of the program. If you have any questions for any of our team leaders, stop aby and find out what Right Steps ® can do for your family.
